The Honorable Adonikam J. Hudson is the proprietor of The Hudson Law Firm LLC, located in Timmonsville, South Carolina. He specializes in criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and probate law. Mr. Hudson commenced his legal career as a legal assistant at Nelson Mullins, where he undertook research and compiled data pertinent to significant legal cases.

In addition to his legal endeavors, Mr. Hudson has a robust public service background, having served with AmeriCorps and Teach For America. During this period, he devoted himself to teaching middle school mathematics, emphasizing empowering students from low socioeconomic backgrounds in the Florence School District Three and Kershaw County School District. Mr. Hudson expanded this commitment to educational service by successfully running for and being elected to the Florence School District Four board.

Mr. Hudson has also assisted juvenile defendants by serving as co-counsel in juvenile cases with the University of South Carolina Law Juvenile Justice Clinic. He gained invaluable experience as a summer associate at the South Carolina Commission on Indigent Defense, where he offered counsel in capital trials and aided in constructing legal defenses for clients. Additionally, he held a position at the Fifth Circuit Solicitor’s Office under the mentorship of The Honorable Byron Gipson.

Presently, Mr. Hudson serves as a Magistrate Judge in Florence, South Carolina, thereby contributing to the community of his hometown, Timmonsville.
